Before the first appointment
The questions that usually arrive before sitting down with us. If yours is not here, write to us.
Do you work in English?
Yes. The firm has been serving international clients in the Marina Baixa for over 20 years, and advice in English is one of its defining features: consultations, documents and proceedings can all be handled in English.
Where is the office and when is it open?
At Camí Vell d'Altea, 2, local 2, in l'Alfàs del Pi (03581), between Benidorm and Altea. It opens Monday to Thursday from 9:00 to 17:00 and on Fridays from 9:00 to 14:00. It is best to book an appointment before coming.
What if my immigration application has been refused?
When the authorities refuse an application or fail to decide in time, the firm assesses whether to lodge the corresponding appeals, both administrative and judicial, anticipating the possible obstacles in the file and avoiding unnecessary steps.
Which kind of divorce is the fastest?
An uncontested divorce with no children and no assets is the simplest and fastest, as there are no complex issues to negotiate. With children or assets the process takes somewhat longer, and when no agreement is possible a contested divorce is filed.
Do you go straight to court?
No. Before starting court proceedings, the firm considers whether an out-of-court negotiation, a formal demand, mediation or a settlement would protect the client's interests better. When litigation is unavoidable, a solid procedural strategy is prepared.
Can I cancel my debts under the Second Chance Law?
It depends on the legal requirements. That is why the firm first carries out a feasibility study: amount of debt, its origin, income, assets, seizures and public debts. That prior analysis avoids unrealistic expectations and prepares the procedure properly.
What should I do if a relative has been arrested?
Contact a lawyer as soon as possible. Early intervention by a criminal lawyer is essential to protect the rights of the person under investigation, prepare a statement with full guarantees and avoid hasty decisions. The firm assists detainees and accompanies clients through every stage of the proceedings.
